Meet the Mentors:
Shirlanne Lemm began her career with GOA Regional Business Association as Membership Clerk in January of 1985. Through out the next 10 years she moved swiftly through the Association as Receptionist, Membership Records Coordinator, Programs & Events Director, Director of Membership and Vice President.
In November of 2001 Shirlanne became the third President & CEO of this 35-year-old Association. Since assuming this position, Shirlanne has led the way for a new culture in GOA. A culture, which promotes helping member businesses grow and prosper while having fun and excitement in the process.
In 2008 she was recognized by The Business Ledger as an Influential Women in Business. Shirlanne has been active in the Elk Grove Rotary club for many years and served as President of the club in their 2012-2013 year. Shirlanne lives in Carol Stream with her husband Stan and 9 year old son Alex.

Record-A-Hit Entertainment celebrates its 30th year in business in 2016. The company provides inflatable games (Giant Slides, Obstacle Courses, Eurobungy), novelty entertainers (Balloonists, Caricaturists, Henna Tattoo Artists), table games (pool tables, foosball tables, air hockey tables), photo booths and more. Record-A-Hit offers more than 300 unique attractions and travels all over the USA to perform. Each year the company provides entertainment for over 1000 events. Clients include corporations, universities, high schools as well as attractions for weddings and bar/bat mitzvahs.

Eddie Levine is the President and Co-Founder of Hub Dub, Ltd. Established in 2012 with business partner Greg Gilpin, the company has morphed into a multi-million-dollar eCommerce operation, with worldwide distribution, attracting superior global brands.
With 15+ years of combined eCommerce, IT and logistics experience working for Fortune 500 companies, Eddie has built an expansive and efficient network of more than 30 different sales channels worldwide. Vendors working with Hub Dub find themselves set apart through Eddie’s capable stewardship of their brand(s) in the form of reputation / IP management, seller enforcement, listing optimization and advertising.

Bill is one of the owners of Service Shipping Inc., a licensed Customs Broker and freight forwarder. As I licensed Customs broker since 1984, acting as the principal of the firm, bill works with importers, exporters and teaching institutions to guide them through the import and export process. Active for over 20 years in the Elk Grove Village Rotary Club, Bill’s passion for charity and volunteerism is a cornerstone to who he is. Married with two children, travel and Scuba Diving round out the picture of this leader.
Josh has worked in the field of Economic Development for over fifteen years.
For the past five years Josh has been the Director of Business Development and Marketing for Elk Grove Village. Since graduating in 2001 from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign with a Business / Marketing degree, Mr. Yormark has earned the coveted CCIM degeneration and acted as a commercial real estate broker with Inland Real Estate Sales, Inland Real Estate Auctions, Sperry Van Ness, and RMS Properties. Some other past experiences include owning a liquor company, reporting live updates on ESPN College GameDay radio, writing the column “Real Estate Matters” for Liberty Suburban Newspapers, and authoring “The Love Sherpa” column for the Chicago Tribune. Mr. Yormark is the developer of a newly contracted retail strip center in Berwyn and a 19,000+ sqft retail shopping center named Lake Cook Commons in Palatine. In February 2018 will be opening up, Fast Laundry, a high end laundromat with drop off service.

Amy has experience in leading and growing service and manufacturing organizations. Amy has proven her ability to aggressively grow sales and profits in high-stress environments while supporting and leading teams, keeping engagement and commitment high and turnover low. Amy leads by example and values mentoring and developing staff. Amy’s approach to growth includes international expansion, new product launches and acquisitions. Jack Redding is the Vice President of Intrapreneurs@Allstate (I@A). He merges a love of technology innovation with a pragmatic problem-solving attitude to help enable the "dreamers who do" in bringing their dreams to life. In his “day job,” he is a Technical Delivery Lead at Allstate Corporation, where he drives personal computer and collaboration technology strategy and execution.
He is passionate about giving back through his roles with several local non-profits and is currently working to found a Chicago chapter of the Circle of Young Intrapreneurs, a fast-growing movement designed to empower social intrapreneurship to help corporations do well by doing good. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Nancy brings a wealth of experience to the small business community. A Chicago native, Nancy has traveled extensively internationally and can speak to a variety of cultural needs. She was owner of MEA Cargo specializing in international freight forwarding, and remained on with Radius International as a Business Development Executive after selling the business in 2017. She has also participated or owned several other companies throughout the years in a variety of fields. Nancy has a strong background in marketing and understands the importance of a well-rounded business with continuous strategy improvements in order to sustain viability. Nancy is very active in the community and is involved in several boards and Chambers to assist small business development.
Daniel’s journey began as a youth Olympic athlete playing soccer. He graduated from Northwestern University where he played NCAA Division I Soccer. Soon after, he moved to Europe to pursue a professional career which was cut short due to injury. This inspired him to help others on their journey, both inside and outside the fitness arena. He loves working with all ages and levels to assist in achieving physical, mental and spiritual results.

Stacy Medema is the Creative Manager at DecisionOne Dental Partners, a dental support organization based out of Schaumburg, IL. She oversees the branding, communications, design, and corporate level marketing for D1. She previously has worked for organizations such as the Chicago Sky WNBA team & the Walt Disney Company and has her BFA in Graphic Design from Columbia College Chicago. Beyond her duties at DecisionOne, Stacy continues to share her passion for the Disney Company through her magically inspired apparel company, Tomorrowland T-shirt Authority. She is excited to share her expertise and help educate and empower the next generation.
